The Riq from Constantinople is a small-diameter drum. Its diameter is 8in to 10in.

The jingles are hand hammered and made by brass or copper. Riq is made by a single-ply or 2-ply walnut frame and its skin is synthetic. Also it is a tunable frame drum.
